The Lombardy region of Italy covers a changing terrain from the Alps to the Po River Valley, which helps create its classic cuisine and unique wines. This exciting evening in begins with a talk at the Danny Kaye Theatre about the history of the Lombardy region and a tasting of the areas exceptional wines. Then you’ll enjoy a specially created meal that features classic Lombardy-region ingredients and includes:

  • Polenta with salami secchi
  • Marinated freshwater fish
  • Risotto with house-made sausage and red wine
  • Braised ossobuco with spring vegetables
  • And for dessert, mascarpone cream with butter cookies
